DT Swiss Aerolite Spokes

The Aerolite is DT-Swiss' high performance spoke with the highest strength to weight ration in their lineup. Starting as the same blank that goes on to create the Revolution, a second forging process is then used to shape the characteristic Aerolite blade. According to DT this extra forging process adds a small amount of strength to the spoke. In fact, this is why once the initial raw wire has been extruded DT never "draws" their spokes and uses only forging techniques. The blade itself is a relatively conservative profile allowing the spoke to fit through any hub without any extra drilling or slotting.
