Far and Near Stem Faceplate Garmin Mount

One of the most sleek computer mount options available, the FarNear “on-stem” style mount utilizes existing stem hardware to create an extremely clean mounting solution for Garmin computers.  Compatible with 4-bolt M5 style stem face plates, two of the existing stem bolts are swapped out for the included 40mm M5 bolts and spacers.  This allows the installation of the mount ahead of the stem face plate, with no clutter on the top of the stem or on the bar tops.  In addition to resulting in less bar and stem “clutter” than bar-clamp or stem-top solutions, many riders prefer the viewing angle of a mount that puts the computer ahead or out front of the stem.  The total weight of the FarNear mount along with the included hardware is a very respectable 38 grams.  The computer mount itself is delrin, and is the Garmin quarter-turn style.  The main body of the carrier is anodized black machined aluminum.  Stem compatibility are those with a 4-bolt face plate and M5 bolts; bolt spacing between the stem bolts that will be replaced with the included 40mm M5 bolts needs to be between 28-37mm.
