Our first Aethos build that has SRAM Red 1x13. The Perfect do it all build, and still UCI Illegal?
Over the past month or two the custom build of choice has been the Aethos2. This last week we built our first SRAM Red 1x13 version of the bike, and it was a build that ticked all the boxes. Ontop of the great gearing we also upgraded the brake calipers to Hope, and we went with the ENVE Pro 1 piece for the bar/stem. Have a look at some post build shots then hop on over to our YouTube channel for the full build video.

The Aethos2 set up 1x13...a thing of beauty.

The ENVE pro custom one piece was the perfect touch.

Computer mount looking super slick.

Roval CLX wheelset to serve for climbing duty. Not pictured is a set of ENVE 4.5's that will serve for the more flatter faster aero purposes.

SRAM Red 165mm crank arms and a 48t aero power meter chainring.

The 10-46 paired with the 48t up front makes from analmost perfect gear range.

Hope RX2 calipers are almost a no brainer in terms of an upgrade. You get the same quality as a Red or Dura-Ace level brake, and you also get to shed fourty plus grams of weight.

This is a terrific 'check all the boxes' build. Full SRAM Red, Roval CLX wheels with 29c tires, the ENVE pro custom one piece, HOPE caliper upgrade, gearing that allows you to do whatever you want. A versatile build that is 'robust', but still comes in at 13.51lbs(6.13kg).
