Shipping & Returns
Fair Wheel Bikes ships bicycle components, accessories, frames, and related products throughout the United States and to select international destinations. This page explains shipping methods, delivery terms, return requirements, refund policies, and how to request a return.

Free Shipping
Fair Wheel Bikes offers free domestic shipping to the continental United States on qualifying orders over $150. Oversized items such as frames, complete bikes, rims, wheels, trainers, and other large or irregularly shaped products may be excluded from free shipping. The shipping method may be USPS, FedEx, or another appropriate carrier and will be selected by Fair Wheel Bikes.
Shipping Terms & Cutoff Times
USPS and FedEx Ground orders placed before 9:00 AM MST generally ship the same business day. FedEx Express orders, including Select, 2 Day, and Next Day services, placed before 2:00 PM MST generally ship the same business day. Orders placed after these cutoff times will normally ship the next business day. Saturday delivery may be available for some orders, but must be arranged by phone.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping rates shown during checkout are calculated using available carrier services and discounted shipping rates when applicable. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed unless the selected service includes a carrier-backed delivery guarantee. Weather, carrier delays, holidays, customs processing, and other conditions outside the control of Fair Wheel Bikes may affect delivery time.
International Shipping
International shipping times vary by carrier, destination country, customs processing, and selected service level. Delays are common on international shipments and are outside the control of Fair Wheel Bikes. For time-sensitive international orders, FedEx International services are strongly recommended over slower postal options.
Risk Of Loss
All items purchased from Fair Wheel Bikes are made pursuant to a shipment contract. Risk of loss and title for purchased items pass to the customer upon delivery of the shipment to the carrier. Customers should inspect packages promptly upon delivery and retain all packaging materials if shipping damage is suspected.
Customs, Duties & Import Fees
Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to taxes, customs duties, import fees, brokerage fees, or other charges levied by the destination country or carrier. The recipient is responsible for all import-related charges. Fair Wheel Bikes is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or unpaid import fees.
Return Policy
Fair Wheel Bikes accepts returns on most new, unused products within 60 days. Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, in original new condition, and accompanied by undamaged retail packaging, manuals, small parts, and accessories. Items showing signs of installation, use, damage, missing packaging, or incomplete contents may be refused or subject to a reduced refund.
Damaged, Incorrect Or Defective Items
If an item arrives damaged, does not match the order, or appears defective, please contact Fair Wheel Bikes before returning the product. We may request photos of the product, packaging, shipping label, or damage. If the return is due to our error, we will provide a return label when available. For approved international returns or other situations where a label is not available, shipping reimbursement must be approved in advance.
Return Shipping
If a return is not due to an error by Fair Wheel Bikes, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are not refunded unless the return is related to an approved order error, shipping error, or other issue approved by Fair Wheel Bikes. Customers are responsible for securely packaging return shipments and should use a trackable shipping method.
Exchanges
Customers requesting an exchange should contact Fair Wheel Bikes directly. In many cases, the quickest option is to place a new order for the correct item while the original item is returned for inspection and refund. The replacement item may be temporarily billed until the original product is received and processed.
Refund Policy
Refunds are applied to the original purchaser's payment method once the returned item has been inspected and confirmed to be unused, uninstalled, and in original new condition with complete retail packaging. Fair Wheel Bikes maintains a 60-day return and refund policy for most products. Beyond 60 days, returns may be accepted only at the discretion of Fair Wheel Bikes for store credit or exchange.
Special Orders & Custom Items
Special-order products, custom-configured items, custom bicycles, wheel builds, cut or modified products, and non-stock items are typically non-returnable. Fair Wheel Bikes will always try to find a fair solution when possible, but cancellations, changes, and returns may be limited once an item has been ordered, modified, or assembled for a customer.
Items With Limited Or No Return Eligibility
The following items may be non-returnable or subject to additional review before approval: installed components, used items, damaged packaging, missing small parts, special-order items, custom wheel builds, custom bicycles, cut steerers, cut hoses, cut cables, tubular tires, glued or mounted tires, opened sealants or lubricants, opened nutrition products, electronics, batteries, clearance items, closeout items, and products modified from their original condition.
Online Return Process
Requesting A Return
To request a return through the website, log into your account and go to My Account. Open Completed Orders, then select Return Item(s) next to the appropriate item. Complete the return request by entering the quantity to return, return reason, optional return action, and optional comments, then submit the request.
Return Approval
After submitting a return request, customers will receive an email confirming that the request has been received. Once the request has been reviewed, a second email will indicate whether the return has been approved. If approved, follow the instructions provided and include the return number on the outside of the package when shipping the item back to Fair Wheel Bikes.
Manual Return Process
Customers who are unable to submit an online return request may complete a return manually. Print and complete the Fair Wheel Bikes return form, include it with the item being returned, and ship the package to the return address listed below.
