The ENVE Melee V2 takes the original Melee’s aero race-bike concept and refines it around lower weight, reduced drag, updated fit, and simpler modern standards. A lighter M.O.D. carbon chassis, revised tube profiles, smaller headset system, BSA threaded bottom bracket, UDH derailleur interface, and new aero seatpost create a more focused race platform while retaining the integrated front end and precise handling that define the Melee.

ENVE Melee V2 aero road bike

Ride Character

  • Direct, responsive road-race handling
  • Reduced weight without abandoning aero efficiency
  • Built for racing, fast group rides, and aggressive road use

Fit & Geometry

  • Seven sizes from 47 through 60 cm
  • Lower stack than the original Melee
  • Size-specific fork rake preserves handling across the range

V2 Refinements

  • 750–850 g frame weight depending on size
  • BSA threaded bottom bracket and UDH interface
  • New headset and proprietary lightweight aero seatpost

Melee V2 Fit & Cockpit Setup

The Melee V2 retains ENVE’s fully internal IN-Route cable system while changing the chassis geometry and headset around a lower, more race-oriented front end. Riders moving from a first-generation Melee should not assume the same frame size and cockpit dimensions will reproduce their existing position, so frame size, bar width, stem length, and spacer height should be reviewed together.

Integrated Front End

  • ENVE IN-Route internal cable routing
  • Smaller headset bearing system than V1
  • Mechanical and electronic drivetrain routing supported

V2 Aero Seatpost

  • New proprietary Melee V2 aero seatpost
  • Lightweight rail-clamp design
  • Compatible with round and oversized carbon saddle rails

What Changed from the Original Melee?

Lighter & Faster

  • Frame weight reduced across the size range
  • Frame surface area reduced by 7.5%
  • 17-watt aerodynamic improvement over V1

Updated Standards

  • BSA replaces the original Melee’s T47 bottom bracket
  • UDH replaces the previous derailleur-hanger design
  • New headset and Melee V2-specific seatpost
