Light Weight ENVE MOG: The Best Gravel Bike There Is??

Whats the best bike to crush gravel on? We answer that question in this blog and youtube video!
The best there is? I think so. Doing this weight weenie build, and getting it under the stock RED build's weight, and at a lower cost only made me more of a believer.

The Extralite Hyperstealth Stem is the pinacle of CNC'd weight weenie stems. We thre on a Bjorn Kort saddle on one of our house branded E-One seatposts. The Kort has a short nose, and the soft 3-d printed padding makes it perfect for long rides on gravel.
We decided to go down the unique road and used a Berd Sparrow wheelset...because who doesnt like wheels that are light, strong, and gorgeous?
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene spokes that are lighter and stronger than their steel counterparts?! Get out of town!!
We did go with the new ENVE HEX tire as it offers great flat protection, low rolling resistance, and is not terribly heavy.
KCNC Nordit rotors. Great for off road applications.
We took some artistic freedom in the crank department. 1x, we did an Easton EC90 ALX crank, used a spider from an Elilee crankset, and mounted a Carbon-Ti chainring to it. The rider didnt need a power meter, so we figured we could use the opportunity to not only cut weight, but also add a touch of style and personality to the build. A note worthy mention is that the Easton crank arms are within 5 grams of other weight weenie options such as Elilee and Cybrei. A proper weight weenie set-up.
We stayed with ther SRAM FORCE XPLR derailleur not only because it helped us stay within a $10k budget, but also because it can actually run a surprisingly big cassette with zero modifications needed.
The Garbaruk 10-52 cassette.....were officially not messing around. The real kicker; it's literally the same weight as the SRAM 10-46. Your getting 6 more teeth 'for free', for zero weight penalty, and for zero modifications to your rear derailleur. Kind of cancels out the weight difference between the RED XPLR and FORCE XPLR derailleurs. It's important to note that if you wanted to run this cassette on the RED XPLR derailleur, you absolutley could, but it would require you to replace the cage which would require a little more cash flow.
Turned out very handsome if i do say so myself.
