Alligator's Superior Shine 31-strand cable is an ultra-premium die-drawn and highly polished cable designed to extract the best performance from top-tier shift and brake systems. The incredibly smooth surface of these cables means the lowest possible friction at every contact point, with no coatings to wear and degrade performance. As an alternative to their Superior Shine cable, Alligator manufactures the same basic cable in a more affordable Slick version whose production only lacks the final polishing step.

Alligator 31 Strand Cables are sold individually and available in both road brake and road/mtb shift versions, with compatibility for all modern brake and shift systems from Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo.
