Open Min.d re-build

Open Min.d re-build

Come look at this re-build we just did on a freshly painted Open Min.d

Sometimes a little 'refresher' is all it takes to ride like the wind. On top of all the customs we do here, we also do a fair amount of re-build projects; projects where we tear the bike down, overhaul it, get a fresh paintjob, and then build it back up with perhaps some small improvments or part swaps along the way. This Open Min.d was one of those projects. This green paint job in my opinion is spot on. Enjoy this post build gallery.

The paint is a soft matte green.

It's always a pleasure to hang Shimano Dura-Ace on a bike.

A new Kalloy Uno Stealth stem, with Fair Wheel carbon spacers. The top cap is a house branded blast from the past.

Di2 of course.

The wheelset we built up previously. Hubs from Tactic, Far Sports rims, and Cx-Ray spokes.

Rotor Aldhu carbon cranks.

Trusty old Fair Wheel V2 cages.

Selle Italia SLR saddle.

The drivetrain cleaned up very nicely.

A few shots of that paint job.

I love Open frames, all the parts used were great as well, but i must say this build turned out even better than I was originally hoping.

Until next time, happy riding!
