ControlTech Falcon Stem

With their sleek black finish, ControlTech's unassuming Falcon series of components may not immediately stand out of the ever-growing crowd of black bicycle components. However, a closer look will reveal an attractive, yet functional, aerodynamic design. The Falcon 6061 aluminum stem uses an advanced 3D-forged and CNC-machined production process to form a stem with clean smooth lines, a low stack height, and a super cool integrated top cap. The Falcon stem is available in four lengths, and is designed to be installed with either positive or negative five degree rise, with inverted logos and an integrated top cap cutout on either side. And, best of all, ControlTech offers this stem with a respectable weight and a reasonable price tag.

Installation

The Falcon stem's integrated top cap is designed to be installed with the top of the steerer tube cut below the top of the stem clamp by 1-3mm. Additionally, most bicycles will require at least a 3mm headset spacer under the stem. Please note that this stem has a lower stack height than most other stems, and you may experience fitment issues when changing your stem.
