Alligator Disc Brake Adapter provides a simple way to match common disc brake caliper, frame, fork, and rotor-size combinations. It is used when changing rotor size or adapting between brake mount standards such as IS/Post or Post/Post.
These adapters are made from 6061 aluminum and offer a practical, low-cost solution for brake setup changes, wheel upgrades, or rotor-size adjustments without replacing the brake caliper or frame hardware.
Fitment Notes
Select the adapter based on your frame or fork mount, brake caliper mount, and target rotor size. The IS/Post option adapts an IS frame or fork mount to a post-mount caliper for a 160 mm front or 140 mm rear rotor. The Post/Post option is for post-mount fork and caliper setups using a 180 mm front rotor.
