While road tubeless has been steadily gaining in popularity over the last couple of years, Hutchinson has consistently been ahead of the curve, designing and manufacturing some of the most well-received road tubeless tires on the market for a number of years. To address the growing trend in multi-surface road riding, Hutchinson presents their Sector road tubeless tire. Originally developed with Hutchinson’s professional racers for use in cobbled spring classic races such as the Paris-Roubaix, these tires have now been brought to market in response to the growing demand for wider road tires designed to tackle more extreme road conditions. These tires feature a 127tpi casing and a dual-compound rubber, the center tread is firmer for lower rolling resistance while the sidewalls feature a softer rubber to give the tires a supple ride quality and improved cornering grip. An added thin barrier reinforces the center tread, making these tires more puncture resistant without sacrificing ride quality. The Hutchinson Sector is an ideal tire for navigating varying rougher road conditions from gravel to dirt to cobblestones. Available in 700 x 28 and 700 x 32 sizing, the Sector continues Hutchinson’s long run as one of the top manufacturers of road tubeless tires.
