Praxis' conversion bottom bracket provides a strong and reliable platform to run your favorite cranks on your BB30 or Pressfit 30 (PF30) frame. The strength of this conversion BB lies in its threaded design. The non-drive side cup is press fit into the frame providing an interface similar to other bottom bracket conversions on the market. Where the Praxis design differs is in its use of a threaded drive side cup. Using a Shimano BB tool the drive side threads into the non-drive side sleeve. The last millimeter, or so, of threads expand the non-drive shell creating a stronger friction hold than a simple press fit bottom bracket could. Furthermore the threaded design perfectly aligns the BB in your frame and prevents any walking out or wobbling of the bearings under load. These bottom brackets also offer a simple way to eliminate pesky creaks often associated with the pressfit BB interface. Available in either stainless steel or ceramic to ideally suit your performance needs. The use of ceramics increases BB wear life, while drastically reducing friction.
OSBB
With two offerings a Praxis conversion can be used to convert your Specialized OSBB frame to either a Shimano HTII (24 mm spindle) or a M24 / GXP (24 mm / 22 mm spindle) bottom bracket.
Di2 / EPS
The shape of the conversion bottom bracket allows almost any wire to pass over the shell of the BB in most all frames. The holes in the shell are simply for weight savings and should not be used for wire routing. If you end up using these as a last resort make sure to protect your wiring from the spinning axle.
