The single-sided version measures from the left pedal and estimates total power, making it the lighter-cost entry point into pedal-based power. The dual-sided version measures both pedals independently, adding left/right balance data for riders who want more detailed analysis of pedaling symmetry, fit changes, fatigue, or rehabilitation-related differences.
