KCNC 6061 Rear Thru Axle is a low-cost, tool-installed replacement rear thru axle for riders who need to replace a lost or damaged stock axle, clean up the rear dropout area, or switch to a lever-free axle design.
Precision-machined from 6061 aluminum, these axles are heavier than KCNC’s 7075 low-profile thru axles, but they offer a more affordable option for everyday replacement use. Installation and removal are handled with a 6 mm hex wrench, with tool fittings on both ends of the axle for easier service access.
Compatibility Note: Rear thru axle fit is frame-specific. Match the axle standard, overall length, thread pitch, thread length, and dropout interface before ordering. Rear hub spacing alone does not confirm axle compatibility.
