The Aerolite Carbon Pedal system delivers an ultra-minimalist approach to clipless design, relying on a cylindrical pedal body and a 304° wraparound cleat interface for secure engagement. Once clipped in, the system can withstand over 1300 lb of upward force, yet disengages naturally through ankle supination, providing a secure but intuitive release.
Proudly engineered and manufactured in the USA, Aerolite pedals utilize titanium spindles, Turcite bushings, and Dupont Zytel ST Nylon cleats for maximum strength-to-weight efficiency. The Alpha Road and Alpha TT versions further reduce weight with optimized titanium spindles (ceramic coated in the TT edition) and refined internals.
The Road series accommodates both 3-bolt road shoes and 2-bolt mountain shoes, while the Time Trial models are spindle-shortened for a narrower Q-factor and increased aerodynamic efficiency.
