The Rox SuperDutE rim strip is a lightweight and reliable solution for covering spoke holes and rim-bed features on both road and mountain bike wheels. Constructed from tough polyester material, the strip is secured to the rim bed with an adhesive backing to help maintain proper positioning during installation and use.
We initially adopted Rox rim strips for weight-focused builds using their Ultralite version. The SuperDutE uses significantly more material for improved durability and longer service life, reducing the risk of rim-bed wear that can damage tubes. While the Ultralite remains our choice for weight-critical builds, the SuperDutE is our standard option for everyday riding and most wheel builds.
