Sapim CX-Sprint spokes are designed for riders who need greater stiffness and durability than CX-Ray while maintaining aerodynamic performance. Using a 2.0 - (2.25 x 1.25) - 2.0mm profile, CX-Sprint increases material through the center section to improve strength under higher loads.
With a 2.25 x 1.25mm bladed section and 1430 N/mm² tensile strength, CX-Sprint is well suited for powerful riders, low spoke count wheels, and high-load road, gravel, and MTB builds.
Available in both J-Bend and Straight-Pull configurations for compatibility with a wide range of hub designs.
Features
- Bladed stainless steel spoke for aerodynamic, high-strength wheel builds
- Increased stiffness and durability compared to CX-Ray
- Cold-forged construction for improved fatigue resistance
- Available in J-Bend and Straight-Pull configurations
- Compatible with standard 14G / 2.0mm interfaces
- Suitable for road, gravel, and mountain wheelsets
Best For
CX-Sprint is built for riders who need more stiffness and durability than CX-Ray without giving up aerodynamic performance.
Best suited for powerful riders, low spoke count wheels, and gravel or MTB builds where added spoke strength improves wheel stability.
For lighter, more compliant builds, choose Sapim CX-Ray. For more cost-effective, high-mileage builds, choose Sapim Race.
Wheelbuilding Notes
The bladed section should be held during tensioning to prevent spoke wind-up. Using a Sapim Bladed Spoke Holder improves accuracy during build.
