The Extralite Titanium Disc Brake Rotor Bolt Set offers a lightweight upgrade for 6-bolt disc brake rotors without compromising strength or reliability. CNC-machined from Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), these precision fasteners reduce rotating weight while providing the durability required for modern road, gravel, and mountain bike braking systems.
Available in either a natural titanium finish or a durable Black PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating, these bolts combine premium appearance with excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance. As with all rotor hardware, Extralite recommends using an appropriate threadlocker during installation and lightly lubricating the underside of the bolt heads to achieve accurate torque.
Black PVD Finish
Extralite's optional Black PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish provides more than a stealth appearance. The ultra-thin coating improves resistance to corrosion and surface wear while maintaining the precision fit and dimensions of the original titanium fasteners.
Installation Notes
Designed for standard 6-bolt disc brake rotors using M5 rotor hardware. Apply a medium-strength threadlocker such as Loctite® 243 (Blue) to clean threads and tighten the bolts in a star pattern to the rotor manufacturer's specified torque using a quality T20 Torx wrench.
