Extralite Cyber SPD-3+ Road 6-Bolt Disc Hubset

The Extralite Cyber SPD-3+ hubset pairs one of the world’s lightest road disc front and rear hubs into a complete system optimized for stiffness, weight savings, and precision. Machined in Italy from aerospace-grade 7075TX aluminum and Grade 5 titanium, the Cyber SPD-3+ hubs are engineered for competitive riders who demand every performance advantage.

The CyberFront SPD-3+ weighs just ~66 g, using a one-piece shell and cross-laced straight-pull design for balanced tension and increased braking response.
The CyberRear SPD-3+ ranges from ~140–146 g depending on freehub body, featuring a dual-pawl freehub with 32-tooth engagement for efficient power transfer.

Both hubs include Extralite’s signature micro-tuner preload system, stainless or ceramic bearing options, and EN-certified strength for riders up to 200 lbs (90 kg). Together, they deliver a complete lightweight hubset for modern road disc wheel builds.

SERVICE

Due to the lightweight construction of Extralite hubs, it is recommended that service be performed at frequent intervals to ensure proper function and the longest possible wear life of the internal components. Detailed service instructions can be found here. We recommend Extralite's Alugrease or Buzzy's Slick Honey for proper and effective lubrication of the seals and freehub mechanism.
