KMC X12 12 Speed Chain

With an actual weight of a very respectable 269 grams (Uncut/126 links and Missing Link connector), the X12 weight is on par with many other manufacturers higher end 12-speed chains. DLC (Diamond-Like-Coating)

The DLC Series chains are coated with a titanium-carbon-nitrade coating creating an extremely hard surface and therefore reduced friction. This results in a smooth running, optimum shifting behavior and, due to the extreme hardness of the pins, an above-average service life of the entire drivetrain.

SILVER

The X12 Silver 12-speed chain, a value-packed gem from KMC. It features X-Bridge technology for smooth, quick shifts and chamfered edges for enhanced performance. With a nickel-plated finish and strengthened pins, it’s built to last and resist wear and corrosion.

X12 Ti-N GOLD

Our "waxed" chain option provides a thorough, multi-step preparation process including cleaning, drying, waxing, curing, and inspection for optimal performance.
