Replace your old worn out bottom bracket or upgrade your existing BB with a Praxis Works M24 / GXP Bottom Bracket for miles of friction free spinning and peace of mind. The M24 / GXP Bottom Bracket is designed to work with a 24mm to 22mm stepped spindle crank. Praxis M24 threaded bottom brackets use an older style 16-notch BB Tool to be correctly installed; the BB86 should be installed using a good quality bearing press. Compatibility is listed below.
PF30 / BB30 (CONVERSION)
The Praxis M24 / GXP Bottom Bracket marked PF30/BB30 comes with a sleeve to fit PF30 frames. The sleeve will need to be press fit into the frame before threading in the BB30 converter. For a BB30 frame the sleeve can simply be discarded and the BB30 adaptor installed. The shape of the conversion bottom bracket allows almost any wire to pass over the shell of the BB in most all frames. The holes in the shell are simply for weight savings and should not be used for wire routing. If you end up using these as a last resort make sure to protect your wiring from the spinning axle.
