The THM Ulna Carbon Road Handlebar combines exceptionally low weight with the stiffness and control required for premium road builds. THM’s proprietary carbon construction incorporates an internal structural rib through the drops, allowing the Ulna to weigh approximately 155 g in the 42 cm size while maintaining a 110 kg maximum total system weight.

Compact geometry includes a 77 mm reach, 119 mm drop, and 6° flare, while the narrower hood position creates a natural transition from the tops to the drops. Textured clamping areas support secure installation, and current Ulna models are available with internal-routing compatibility for modern electronic road drivetrains.

ICR & Cable Routing

Current THM Ulna models are ICR-ready for road bikes using hydraulic disc brakes and electronic shifting. Internal routing compatibility depends on the handlebar version, stem, headset, frame, and complete routing system, so confirm the intended setup before ordering.

For a separate internally routed cockpit, pair the Ulna with the THM Tibia ICR Carbon Road Stem. Traditional non-ICR builds can use the standard THM Tibia Carbon Road Stem.

Installation & Fit Notes

THM measures Ulna width center-to-center at the ends of the drops. The hood position is approximately 16 mm narrower overall, so both measurements should be considered when selecting a width.

The Ulna is not compatible with clip-on aero extensions. Installing aero extensions can damage the handlebar and void the warranty.

Professional installation is recommended. The stem and shift/brake lever clamp areas must be free from sharp edges and burrs, and the textured clamping surfaces should be cleaned and assembled using suitable carbon friction paste. Always observe the lower torque limit specified by either the handlebar or the attached component.

Availability & Special-Order Options

Standard Ulna sizes may be purchased when available. If your preferred width or routing version is out of stock or not shown, contact Fair Wheel Bikes to check current THM availability, special-order lead time, and cockpit compatibility.

Related THM Cockpit Components

Pair the Ulna with the standard THM Tibia for a lightweight traditional cockpit or the THM Tibia ICR for compatible internally routed builds.

Riders seeking a one-piece THM cockpit can also compare the THM Frontale and THM Frontale Aero.
