The Extralite Hyper2 MTB Freehub Body Kit replaces worn freewheel components or converts compatible second-generation Extralite rear hubs to a supported mountain bike cassette standard. Available for Shimano HG 10 / 11-speed, SRAM XD, and Shimano Micro Spline, each kit includes the matching freehub body, floating ring, stainless springs, and Extralite Alugrease.
Hyper2 freehub kits are designed exclusively for second-generation Hyper hubs and are not compatible with current Hyper3 systems.
Compatibility
Compatible Hyper2 Rear Hubs
Not compatible with HyperBoost3 or HyperSmart3 hubs. Those hubs require the newer Hyper3 Freehub Body Kits.
Never mix Hyper2 and Hyper3 components or combine used and new freewheel parts.
Need a Hyper3 Freehub?
If your hub is an HyperBoost3 R or HyperSmart3 R, you'll need the newer Hyper3 Freehub Body Kits. Hyper2 and Hyper3 freehub systems are not interchangeable.
